지난 7월 22일, 울산기후위기비상행동과 탈핵울산시민공동행동이 진행한 공공재생에너지법 제정 기자회견 소식 공유합니다.

울산기후위기비상행동과 탈핵울산시민공동행동은 22일 울산시청 프레스센터에서 기자회견을 열고 "탈원전과 기후위기 대응은 거스를 수 없는 시대적 사명"이라며 "재생에너지를 공공의 권리로 만드는 공공재생에너지법을 즉각 제정하라"고 밝혔다.


이어 "공공재생에너지법은 지역 주민과 지방정부가 재생에너지 생산과 소비에 직접 참여하고 수익을 공유하며, 중앙정부의 책임 있는 지원과 제도적 기반을 마련하는 법이다"고 설명했다.


그러면서 "시민이 주체가 되고, 지역이 중심이 되는 공공재생에너지 전환이야말로 기후위기를 실질적으로 해결할 수 있는 유일한 길이다"고 주장했다.
